1. Concept.
Whether it’s your concept or ours, it comes to life with our dedicated staff of in-house experts. Our team takes your desire for a tablet, capsule, powder or flavoured product and begins working on a specification to meet your requirements.
2. Formula.
We refine your concept to a workable formula. We advise you on material availability and characteristics, appropriate fill weight, and dosage and packaging alternatives. Once you agree to the specification that we develop together, we are ready for the next step.
3. Quotation.
We give you a comprehensive written quotation listing the services and materials that both parties will provide, lead time, and price and financial terms of your purchase. Where applicable, we will provide a representative trial sample for your approval.
4. Sales Order.
After you have agreed to the Quotation, we will prepare a Sales Order for your sign-off. We determine lead time requirements such as financial considerations, arrival of your materials (if any) and proceed with your order once it has been signed by you. Our Quality Control department creates a Finished Product Specification and Bill of Materials and your Account Executive approves the order. Our Planning Team creates manufacturing and packaging (if applicable) work orders which create a demand to purchase the materials for your order. All these steps are completed in our proprietary ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system which integrates purchasing, sales, production, quality control and inventory control in real time.
5. Material Acquisition.
Having already sourced the materials that meet the agreed specification for your order in the quotation process, we purchase the materials from our global suppliers.
6. Quality Control.
Our QC department takes charge when the materials for your order arrive, ensuring all raw materials are tested to the agreed specifications prior to being released to production.
7. Production.
Once the material is released, our Planning Team schedules the production run liaising with Sales and Production to establish priorities. Manufacturing techniques and processes vary based on the type of product that we are manufacturing for you. We are capable of manufacturing capsules, tablets and powders and enteric coating tablets and soft gelatin capsules.
8. Inspection and Quality Assurance.
QA completes checks throughout the production process ensuring that the product is being manufactured according to the agreed finished product specification. Once manufacturing in bulk form is complete, our QA personnel thoroughly inspect the finished product and ensure that the agreed testing has been completed and that the product meets the agreed specifications. The product is then ready for further processing. If you are purchasing bulk product, Sales Administration will prepare a packing slip, invoice or commercial invoice and instruct the warehouse that Shipping preparation can begin. QA retains samples for GMP/Regulatory requirements.
9. Packaging and Labelling.
If your order is going on to be packaged and labelled, QA continues to take samples and do verification checks that the packaging is in accordance with the agreed specification. We can package in a wide range of bottle sizes and colours and can also package tablets and capsules into pouches, cartons, insert leaflets, fill resealable soft plastic gusset bags and so forth depending on your needs.
10. Quality Assurance.
Once packaging is complete, our QA personnel inspect the finished product once again and verify that the product is tested and packaged to the agreed specification. The product is then ready for final processing. Sales Administration prepares a packing slip, invoice or commercial invoice and instructs the warehouse that Shipping preparation can begin. QA retains samples for GMP/Regulatory requirements.
