Our team of dynamic and committed professionals draws on a wealth of experience from a variety of disciplines to provide you with service that will meet or exceed your expectations. Let our expertise help you every step of the way!
Sales, Product Development, QC and Purchasing Teams work together to bring your concept to life and establish an agreed specification that meets your requirements. With the majority of the products in the natural products industry being combination products, some ingredients in the 1000’s of mg (mcg), proper formulation to guarantee adequate blending is critical.
There are many parameters that our Product Development team assesses before creating a workable formula. For example, a consideration of the ingredients’ flowability and density as well as particle size and shape is required. How the ingredients are to be blended and for how long are also primary considerations when formulating. These parameters are often established with a series of trials. Successful trials allow our experts to create unique blending protocols for even the most challenging formulations and provide the data necessary to meet the agreed finished product specification. Once the protocols are established, the finished product specification finalized and the product can go into Production, product development is complete.
Flavour Specialists
Our product developers are specialists in masking ingredients with challenging taste profiles using flavours, sweeteners, masking agents and colours. For example, botanical preparations, B vitamins, and green superfoods are especially difficult to flavour. We have extensive experience making these ingredients and many others taste good!
Enteric Coating
Our GRAS-affirmed, solvent-free, aqueous based enteric coating can be used on tablets and soft-gelatin capsules. With sales of EFA`s continuing to be a strong growth category, enteric coated softgels give you an extra advantage when selling this dosage form. Enteric coated softgels eliminate the “repeat” of fish oils and other odoriferous or bad tasting compounds. Enteric coating also protects the core from disintegrating in the stomach, allowing the contents to release in the small intestine, the primary site of absorption for many nutrients. Rhema's enteric coatings use only aqueous based GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) materials and we can provide vegetarian coating options.
Raw Materials
We are dedicated to providing you with the best possible product beginning with a global search for the finest materials. We negotiate and build relationships with suppliers that are able to meet the requirements for more sophisticated and effective materials, and we work diligently to maintain a constant supply, even under extreme market conditions. We buy direct from companies around the world including the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan, China, India, South America and Australia. Our Purchasing Team works closely with our Product Development, Quality Control and Sales Teams to find the best materials for your product. Customers can also supply their own materials, subject to Rhema house standards and agreed raw material specifications.
