Business Development Executive (Coquitlam, BC)
Rhema Health Products Limited is a contract manufacturer/packager of natural health products and pharmaceuticals. Incorporated since 1990, we are a stable company with growth opportunities for high performing team players.
We are seeking an experienced business development professional who will be responsible for the development and management of one high growth high volume customer.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Have proven sales ability to achieve results and implement sales and marketing initiatives; previous experience in the development and management of key accounts is required.
- Have previous experience in the natural products / OTC pharmaceutical/CPG (consumer packaged goods) industry.
- Possess exceptional oral and written communications and customer service skills.
- Excel at project management from start to finish with the self-confidence to coordinate duties of internal departments and external partners to achieve desired objectives.
- Enjoy working in an environment where time is of the essence; able to perceive and convey a sense of urgency to high priority tasks with tact, diplomacy and appropriate assertiveness.
- Possess excellent attention to detail and administrative skills. Able to maintain detailed records of all material correspondence and organize files physically and electronically.
- Display strong numerical aptitude (forecasting, margin calculation, weights and measures, etc.) and strategic thinking.
- Bring strong Microsoft office skills and aptitude for learning additional software.
- Be able to travel to tradeshows, locally and in North America as required.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- All aspects of day-to-day business development and customer service.
- Coordinating all elements of new product launches with customer and internal company departments as required with agreed upon timelines for completion of finalized. formulas, approved quotations, trial runs, packaging and sizing requirements, and firm launch dates.
- Coordinating the unique requirements for promotional projects as required.
- Regular commutes to the customer premises for meetings and ongoing business needs
- Review and approval of estimates for sales orders or quotations.
- Coordinating inventory reports to customer with Sales & Marketing Administrator and other departments as necessary.
