Main responsibility is to keep production areas tidy. The cleaner will be required to operate and maintain equipment and maintain cleaning logs.

Production Supervisor

Reporting to the Assistant Production Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for the direction and supervision of all production employees at our facility to ensure safety, production, and quality requirements are obtained.

 

Skills and qualifications are

3-5 years experience as a production supervisor in the health food industry.

Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or Equivalent but preferred to have a science background

Fluency in English both written and spoken

Excellent leadership, decision making and problem solving skills

Excellent documentation skills

 

Duties

-Maintains a safe work environment for all staff

-Ensures adherence to all safety rules, policies, and regulations.

-Maintains consistency in compliance and enforcement of all GMP regulations and company policies.

-Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions are being followed.

-Responsible for the orientation of new personnel and coordination of their training.

-Maintains effective communication through the proper channels.

-Attends scheduled meetings.

-Ensures assigned work areas are left in acceptable condition at the end of the shift.

-Ensures all equipment is maintained and in good working condition.

-Spends largest portion of time on production floor.

-Completes required daily documentation consistently.

-Keeps all department Managers well informed of daily operations.

-All other duties as assigned.

Join our Warehouse team!  Reporting to the Warehouse & Materials Manager and working with a close-knit team, you will be required to perform a variety of duties including, but not exclusive to, operating a forklift, receipt and consolidation of materials, and using a semi-automated bundling unit. 

 Ability to perform physical work required and previous experience preferred.  Training will be provided.
